The moulded construction gives an excellent mirrored finish to the surface of the hulls. By using synthetic materials for the hulls there is no danger of water absorption here nor any resultant weight increase.

The deck grip is a fine, transparent layer of sand which is extremely effective and prevents wear to sailor clothing.

The anchorages of the shrouds have been elevated to align with the mast foot, ensuring the tension of the shrouds remains constant for any mast rake and avoiding any unnecessary effort on the thwart. This fitting also enables a better distribution of the tension between the stay, shroud and backstay.

Each float is fitted with a breather tube to ensure that the interior and exterior pressures are equal at all times, thereby avoiding tension in the internal structures of the hull when, due to a temperature change, the pressure of the interior varies.

The end of each tube is elongated on the inside as far as the keel to make it impossible for water to seep inside, even in the event of a 180 degrees capsize.

The thickness of the stern has been considerably reduced to prevent turbulence,
whilst its rounded shape conforms to existing class rules.

The straps are comfortable, lightweight and strong. The drain plugs are on the outer sides of the deck to help drainage when the patin is tilted to one side.

The usual wooden plugs of the thwart screws have been replaced by a fine layer of epoxy resin.

Lengthening the screws results in an even distribution of the overall tension in the wood.

The anchorage
of the backstays is found on the inner side of the float to strengthen it and to guide the return of the line in the most effective way below the second thwart.

At the stern of each hull there is a second drain plug to increase interior ventilation. The support of the traveler is made of light wood covered in fibreglass.
